The Moby Swaddle Blanket was inspired by a public health nurse who always recommended the Moby to her patients after seeing how happy, secure and comfortable babies and their caretakers were while using the carrier. After searching for the perfect swaddle blanket babies could be swaddled in when not being carried, she went to Moby and together they invented the perfect blanket.

Swaddling can calm fussy babies, help them to fall asleep faster, more efficiently, and longer; Reduce incidence of colic, and some research shows that swaddling reduced the likelihood of SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome).
